The Iowa Finance Authority was created by legislators in 2002 as part of a larger initiative to improve financial literacy and opportunities for Iowans. Since that time, we have made great strides in creating positive change across Iowa communities through affordable housing programs and financial education initiatives. That is a huge step toward improving housing conditions and making homes more affordable for thousands of hard working Iowans.
